The Reverend Francis (Frank) W. Fagan, OSB
Father Francis (Frank) W. Fagan was born in Brooklyn, New York
on January 5, 1958. He attended Saint Thomas
Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and entered the
Benedictine Order in 1979. While a member of the Benedictine
Monastery of Saint Mark’s Priory in South Union, Kentucky, he
attended Southern Benedictine College, Western Kentucky
University and Saint Mark’s School of Theology, Father Fagan
left the Benedictine Monastery to tend to the health needs of
family members.
Father Fagen was Ordained a priest on February 10th, 1996, for
the Diocese of Florida of the Free Catholic Church in South
Florida serving at five parishes, and as Chaplin at a nursing
home in Stuart Florida, over the course of fifteen years. During
this time, he also served at the Old Catholic Church of Port
Saint Lucie in Florida.
Father Frank worked in the secular world in various positions
including eleven years in the Public Works Department for the
City of Coconut Creek driving for the neighborhood community. He
retired from this position in 2011.
While in Florida, Father Frank had an active wedding ministry
and teamed up with Rabbi Loring Frank and performed many
interfaith weddings. They appeared on the local Television News
Station as the “South Florida Dynamic Dual”.
Father Fagan now lives in Katy Texas, in the Metropolitan area
of Huston. He was incardinated into the Catholic Church of
America by Presiding Bishop Marl R. Earl on June 1st of 2023 and
currently serves in Chaplaincy in the greater Huston metropolian
area.
